What does HAI² stand for, and how is the name pronounced?
AI transformation means the parallel development of people, technology, organisation, and culture. Companies must always keep several factors in view: H (Human), AI (Artificial Intelligence), and I, a symbol that in science stands for resistance to acceleration and change. From the combination of people, IT expertise, systemic organisational development, and change management, this results in H * AI * I = HAI² (haː ɪ kvaˈdraːt)
How many employees does HAI² Consulting have?
HAI² Consulting is a start-up and initially a sole proprietorship. As owner and founder, I (Siegfried Leiner) advise you and your company. My focus is to contribute my specific expertise to AI transformation projects and thereby help ensure their success. Depending on project requirements, I work closely with a network of consulting firms and specialists to flexibly provide the right expertise and capacity.

What does "Human-Centered AI" mean?
Human-Centered AI means that artificial intelligence is consistently aligned with people—not the other way around.
AI systems should enhance people’s capabilities, meet their needs, and be transparent, fair, and trustworthy. The focus is not on algorithms, but on the people who work with AI, are affected by it, or bear responsibility for it.
Human-Centered AI combines technical excellence with ethical reflection and organisational change—so that AI not only works, but also delivers impact.
What does a typical collaboration look like?
Our view is that every company is unique and that knowledge about the potential uses of AI can only be found within the organisation. As part of the project scoping, the framework conditions and focus for the consulting are defined. An initial current-state analysis at the start of a project is essential, ideally in the form of stakeholder interviews. Depending on the objectives and phase of the project, different formats and methods are used.
Do we already need AI experience in the company?
No. Building foundational and orientation knowledge about AI is typically part of the project.
What sets HAI² apart from other AI consultancies?
